Fundraising Program
In order for the MRFRS to rescue and place 1000 cats and kittens and sterilize another 1000 feral cats every year we
need to raise over $250,000 to fund our programs, adoption, feral and spay/neuter. We raise money through the work of many diligent volunteers and supporters. How can you help?
Support
one of our special events: The MRFRS has three large special events every year; The FurBall(in April), The Strut for Strays(In October), and our Fine Wine and Chocolate Tasting Event(In February). Come and have fun while supporting a wonderful grassroots cause.
Become a SAFE Circle Sponsor: This is a feral cat sponsorship program for our ferals at our Sanctuary in Danville and in our managed colonies in Newburyport, Newbury and Salisbury. Become
a monthly sponsor and receive updates on how the kitties are doing.
Advertise your business in our Newsletter. For $50 you can have your business
advertised in our newsletter and support a great cause. Contact us at info@mrfrs.org for

Have a donation can in your business: This is a great way to get the word out about the MRFRS and you can help raise funds to support our programs.
Support
our Holiday Raffle. Every year we have a Holiday Cash Raffle. This fundraiser
is used to fund our spay/neuter program.

Make a general donation to the MRFRS and see if your employer
will match the donation. General Contributions represents about 25%
of our giving. This means people donate
to us because they like the
work we are doing!
Give a donation in honor of someone
or a memorial donation. We
send out cards acknowledging memorial donations, anniversaries, birthdays
and other holidays. We also maintain a memorial
listing on our website
in order to honor those that have supported us.
Think of us when doing your estate planning. Since we were founded in 1992.
We are a relatively young organization with a mortgage that needs to be paid
off in 5 yrs. By paying off this mortgage we will ensure that the MRFRS will
always have a debt free headquarters and financial stability.
Contribute to our building fund. We have expansion plans to our current
location. We estimate the cost of the expansion to be $120,000.
Donate your time and services. We have had some people through fundraising
parties in their homes to benefit the MRFRS. Think outside of the box. We are
very receptive to all ideas.
