ROCKY
Meet Rocky, an adorable, outgoing tabby & white boy of about 1 year old.
Rocky disappeared from his home last fall, only to be picked up the local animal
control officer this spring. When Rocky arrived to us, we were delighted to find
that he had a microchip—but sad to discover that he tested positive for
Feline Leukemia (FeLV). Eager to reunite Rocky with his owners, we called them
right away—only to learn that they had no interest in taking him back now
that he had tested FeLV+. Rejected by the family who had once loved him, Rocky
became our kitty, and now our greatest hope is to find this sweet boy a home
where he will be loved and cherished the way he deserves to be! Because he is
FeLV+, Rocky will have a shorter than normal lifespan, though he is perfectly
healthy now. He will need to be an only cat, or live with other FeLV+ cats, and
must be kept indoors only. In spite of his sad story, Rocky is a happy-go-lucky
guy, and we think he deserves to live out his life in a real home rather than
a shelter. Could you open your heart and home to Rocky?
ADOPT ME!
